the Emotional perception of colour depends on conditions of illumination, colour adaptation, colour contrasts and harmonies. Insufficient light exposure reduces perception of colour sources in connection with a low photosensitivity tsvetooshchushchajushchih sight elements. The colour sensation can be sharp at high enough level of light exposure (150-700 lk).

The interrelation of the general level of light exposure with colour colouring of protecting surfaces of premises is thus observed. At the same light source the general light exposure changes depending on factor of reflexion of a colour surface: white (88%) - 157 lk; light yellow (74%) - 98 lk; light green (69%)-92 lk; grey (68%)-89 lk; pink - (62%) - 68 lk.

Long influence of a light stream reduces sensitivity of an eye by a retina. In this connection the perception of light and colour sources becomes dull. So, at transition from brightly shined premise in dark some time is necessary that the eye has started to perceive surrounding space. At long contemplation of one colour source the perception also becomes dull: additional colour to it is perceived more sharply. This property of sight is called as adaptation. Colour adaptation influence of various colours speaks against each other by their comparison, the phenomena of colour contrasts and harmonies.
