CHANGE of NATURAL DECORATIVE PROPERTIES of WOOD. A designation of coverings

The Designation of coverings (on OST 13-27-74) should consist of three parts: a material, a category, reflective properties. For example, varnish РџР­.1. M. P that designates: a covering polyester, the first category, matte, transparent.

The Finishing materials applied to furnish of furniture, are subdivided into following groups:

1. The materials applied to preparation of a surface before drawing of a varnish film (a first coat, shpatlevki, napolniteli, porozapolniteli, bleaching structures and dyes);

2) the materials applied to creation of a paint and varnish covering (varnishes, paints and enamels);

3) the auxiliary materials applied at work with varnishes and enamels (solvents, thinners, the softeners levelling liquids, polishes, etc.) and intended for oblagorazhivanija a finishing film (grinding skins, pastes, etc.).

In the furniture industry of Russia following groups of paint and varnish materials are applied: varnishes on the basis of natural pitches; oil-pitch varnishes, paints and enamels; varnishes and enamels on the basis of cellulose aethers; varnishes and enamels on a basis kondensatsionnyh pitches; varnishes, paints and enamels on a basis polimerizatsionnyh pitches.
